The World of Kashmir: The Priests

The most terrifying element that the Temple propagates is the notion of “Paradise” (similar to Heaven or the Afterlife in our known religions) within it’s canon theology.This holds to the fact that only Orsi can naturally pass on to Paradise when they die, and humans do not. Humans can only gain access to Paradise when they die if they are eaten by an Orsi. 

This has lead to a quite disturbing but prevalent tradition of families of death-sentenced convicts petitioning the Holy Temple and Kashmir government for “execution by consumption” that will at least let their loved ones carry on to Paradise.  

Rebel human groups maintain this is an elaborate lie to allow Orsi to indulge in their primal & predatory instincts in a more “civilized” setting.
